How to choose the right jewellery based on your personality

Hello, dears!
Choosing the best jewellery that fits my needs, might be a problem sometimes. I always think of the entire outfit, the hairstyle, the colors. But there are days when I buy some jewellery based only on my mood.
You know, the choice of jewellery reflects not only our taste, but also the personality type given by nature.
There are 4 types of temperament: choleric, sanguine, phlegmatic and melancholic. Let’s find out which type of jewellery can be chosen by everyone of them.

The right jewellery based on the temperament

The choleric’s mood, usually, dramatically changes, it is defined by passion, fast movements and speech. So, the choleric’s stones are diamonds, sapphires, tourmalines and emeralds.
The principle by what a choleric is choosing the jewellery, is “luxurious simplicity”. The wore jewellery both contain luxury details, in the earrings, for example, and together with that, the image will be completed with just a simple necklace.
The sanguine is defined by curiosity, optimism and sociability. This person has a lively balanced character and an active lifestyle, which is mostly set on the jewellery choose. The stones for this type are also diamonds and tourmalines, as for the choleric one, but also, the pink pearls, which give them some kind of belief in themselves. As the sanguine loves to be in the center of attention, wearing a ring with diamond will be the best choice, so to be noticed by everyone in the group.
The phlegmatic person has calmness, perseverance and scrupulousness as the key qualities. The base stones, beside diamonds, are garnet, amethyst and white pearls. Usually, this type chooses just some minimal jewellery for the outfit, but they are perfectly combined between them. So, this type of person will never wear all the jewellery from the jewellery box, just to get attention from others. Combining a ring with a necklace, or the earrings with a bracelet would the most preferred choice. So, these combinations will surely give the phlegmatic some appreciations from everyone.
The melancholic person is the most concentrated on the own experiences and romantic one. This type is vulnerable, sublime and daydreaming.
The stones that fit this kind of personality are also diamonds, but adding some spinel, zircon and golden pearls.
Even if this might be surprising, the melancholic persons love rich colored stones, but the jewellery type itself must be delicate.

Choosing the jewellery based on the character

Wearing a jewellery, the most of the time, gives other an impression of which type of person are you, which character you have, and even the mood you are in right now!
So that’s why I’m always paying big attention to what jewellery I wear: the stones, type, colors and so on.
For example, people who are really passionate about their work and career, mostly like the geometric jewellery. A flirty and entertained person will wear massive and shiny jewellery.
Pearls are mostly liked by the lovers of traditions, classic style and femininity.
Designer jewellery is preferred by those who like unique pieces. Also, this type of persons, and those who are creative, love handmade jewellery.
Romantic and sentimental natures love vintage jewellery, while people who know what they want from their lives, choose personalized accessories.
Optimistic and sociable persons like plastic and sport-style jewellery the most.
As you can see, different types of characters still match the types of personality known in the present. So, knowing your type, you could find the best option for you in terms of jewellery.
I always like to pay attention to these details, because they’re those which define not only my personality, but also my mood. Once you look at choosing the right accessory from this point of view, it will be much easier to create your perfect look.

A longer life to your jewellery

Good day, my ladies!
Jewellery’s my passion and the one struggle I have with it, is just how to retain its original shine and beauty.
Sometimes it can be really a problem, taking in consideration that there are pendants, rings, bracelets or earrings with some stones on them and made of different metals.
So, in order for you to not have such problems, I’ll try to present in this post how to properly maintain your jewellery.

General rules for jewellery caring

Even if you hardly try to maintain your accessories bright as when you just got them, there comes the time when they start to lose their initial state. The main rules to not admit that, are to just wear them carefully, store accordingly and give properly care to them.
Knowing which type of jewellery you have, let’s say, it’s a gold necklace with some stones in it, gives you a big understanding on how to take care of it.
Ideally, the jewellery needs to be cleared everyday using a microfiber, for example. But usually, as we all have a lack of time, it’s not possible to do this activity as often as we’d like to.
So, to solve this problem, another advices come in mind. The most important things you could take in consideration for this purpose, is to not expose the jewellery to sunlight, moisture or chemical products.
Although, if the jewellery hasn’t been cleaned for a longer period, soak it for 10-15 minutes in a solution of water and dishwashing detergent. After that, clean them very carefully with a soft brush and wipe dry with a soft cloth.

Jewellery caring based on its material

Firstly, let’s talk about gold jewellery, as it’s the most common type. The basic cleaning of it consists on that water-dishwashing detergent. Just pay attention to the fact, that gold is not friendly with chlorides. So, in order to dissolve greasy stains and add extra shine to the gold, add a few drops of ammonia.
Silver is a really soft metal which is “afraid” even of the slightest mechanical stress. The basic action you could take now regarding maintaining your silver jewellery as if it’s new, take it off every time you do some physical work.
As silver also does not like sulfur and its compounds, which, by the way, are found in small quantities in air and human sweat, such jewellery must be cleaned ways more often than the gold ones.
Taking care of jewellery with precious stones is as important as of made from precious metals ones. So, diamonds can be cleaned using a soft brush dipped in soapy water. Rubies and sapphires can be cleaned using some water with any type of gentle detergent.
Just a moment to remember about these stones, is that they are very sensible to the sunlight.
Emeralds, as silver, are softly and their maintaining should be as gentle as possible. For this scope, I use very soft brushes or microfiber and a very mild soap solution.
Topaz is quite easy to maintain, just one important note, is that they need to be rinsed with distilled water after being cleaned.
Pearls are one of my preferred stones. They look both cute and rich. So these stones don’t like moisture. It’s also not recommended to wet them too much, and after cleaning, they must be dried at room temperature.
If you want to restore the pearl’s shine, wash it in a mild soapy solution, rinse thoroughly in clean water and let them dry.

How to properly store jewellery?

As I already mentioned in the beginning, one of the important rules of how to take care of jewellery, is to correctly store it. For some types or metals jewellery is made of, storing is as important as cleaning.
Firstly, you should remember that all of the items you have, must be placed separately from each other in a box upholstered with soft cloth. Some of the products might be also placed in a small soft cloth bag to avoid contact with the other ones.
After you made some order in your jewellery box, you should also take care of it. So, put it in a place away from heat sources, as high temperatures can badly affect the jewellery, even if it’s in the box and may be in some special bags.
Paying attention to these short rules and following them, will give a longer life to your jewellery, so every time you’ll wear them, they’ll add a beautiful accent to your outfit.

Marie from Gold Genesis

Types of jewellery every woman should own

Greetings! This is Marie from Gold Genesis and let’s talk today about types of jewellery.
First of all, you should know that the final image is always created by details. They can litteraly transform the image, and so, that’s why we love jewellery so much! You also understand my passion for it, don’t you?
Although, you know, it doesn’t matter how good or bad the day was, it always becomes a good one in the end, every time I wear a nice and fashionable jewellery which makes me confident in myself. The greatest quality every jewellery has, is that it can complete any image – a cocktail dress, an everyday outfit or even a tracksuit! For example, luxurious necklaces and earrings with some stones are the best to pick for a festive outfit. But the most compact ones are the best for an everyday look.
Do you know how many types of jewellery exist now on the market? There’s really plenty of them and we can discuss there about how we can wear and combine the ones we like the most.
I’m going to say you about everyday and festive jewellery.

Everyday and festive jewellery

As our entire look consists of details, it is especially important to choose the right image for the everyday wearing. So, the main things you should pay attention to when choosing your everyday jewellery, are the comfort and reliability.
For example, as the most of the time such jewellery I don’t take off for the night, it can be very easy to forget that I’m wearing them! That’s why these two qualities are the most important ones.
One of the best everyday jewellery are small earrings with English or pin clasp. This is the most reliable clasp for this purpose. Also, stud earrings are a really good pick. They add both confidence and grace to the whole image. And isn’t it the main thing we’re all searching for when choosing the right jewellery?
But, beside everyday life, we also have some festive one. It’s obvious that I mostly love the last option. Choosing the entire outfit, along with the most beautiful jewellery for a festive night is the best time spending for me.
In this case, the pearls are those that complete the entire look. So, for a big and bright holiday – big and bright jewellery! It’s so easy, huh? For a festive night, the earrings are one of the main characters of the outfit. So, there’s an unprecedented idea to get some waterfall, chandelier or pins earrings.
Rhinestone inlaid earrings are also a good fit, so they are easy to find and to combine with different types of dresses.
But mainly, you should pay attention to which jewellery you choose, based on the occasion you’re going to and on the entire outfit: colors, materials and hairstyle.

Thematic jewellery

Usually, thematic jewellery is used for creating a special look, which brightly differs from the others one. It’s a great idea to try such combinations, when going to a themed party.
Such types of jewellery emphasize the best the person’s individuality and also they add some mystery and zest to the overall outfit.

Transformer jewellery

This type of jewellery is just the best, because it offers the possibility to change the entire look in no time!
My favorite type of such jewellery is the necklace-earrings. They really look like the golden time of the luxury Hollywood!
Also, triple type jewellery is a good pick, which usually consists of a watch, broche and pendant.

How to combine the jewellery?

When choosing between some of the jewellery, I always follow some simple rules. That’s needed so the overall outfit looks both simple and attractive.
So, the most important rules are:

• don’t use too much jewellery in one outfit;
• correctly combine the clothes and jewellery. Pay attention to colors;
• follow just one outfit style;
• pay attention to jewellery’s material;
• Consider the occasion.

I really like jewellery, how they look, how they can be combined between them and with different outfit, so that’s why sometimes, it takes me really more time to choose the ones that fits my look best!
